bike spoke l.e.d. diy awesomeness

a month ago i talked to a dude who had the sickest custom multicolored, pattern shifting led bike spoke setup. he made them himself (as part of squid labs) but said they're too pricey to make and sell. but now a new, simplified but still super rad project has surfaced online: diy bike spoke tweakable led project, complete with full instructions and photos. the source code (???) for that page has info on where to buy the components.
