transformers success greenlights upcoming g.i. joe film?

it makes perfect sense that with the success of the transformers live movie this past summer, they're now making a live version of g.i. joe. few details are available but so far they've got sienna miller as the baroness and stephen summers ("the mummy" - not a terrible film, as far as action films come) to direct. release date is august 2009.
